PowerDV was started in 2001 to address a need for high quality DVCAM editing at reasonable prices. Back then you had to jump through a lot of hoops to finish a programme that you'd shot on DV or DVCAM. It is a very a versatile format that a lot "Pros" only had contempt for. We wanted to change that perception and help the format gain some respect in the Indian television industry.

As a fully equipped DV post house we provided post production services to a long and illustrious list of clients. Along the way we found they needed services that we could provide at competitive costs and deliver their product on time and to their highest expectations. So we took on other responsibilities as well.

We mastered and duplicated VCDs & DVDS. Suggested and delivered Internet ready video formats for client websites and presentations. Covered entire events with multiple cameras and live switchers. Produced AVs, Training Films and Corporate films for brand name corporations and also provided camera and cameraman services to foreign clients.

In short we have turned into a full fledged production and finishing company. We can take a client from concept through final master to final optical media distribution or internet distribution.

We are ready to take on the challenges the digital world is sure to throw up. Our edit systems are HDV ready and can tackle High Definition Video post as easily as DigiBeta or DVCAM. We have started offering Digital Asset Management (DAM) services and also consult for Video on Demand in India. We have made sure our expertise and equipment stay upto date and current in every respect.

Our range of services might have widened but we haven't forgotten where we started. We still provide excellent post facilities for our present clients and to any in the near future.
